The organizing committee of the Harbin Fair announced that the Russian Export Center (REC, VEB.RF Group) will hold the "Made in Russia" Russian Food Culture Festival during the 34th Harbin International Economic and Trade Fair from May 17 to 21. The Russian Export Center is a national-level institution dedicated to supporting the export of non-resource and non-energy products. Previously, the festival has been successfully held in four Chinese cities, including Shenyang, Dalian, Harbin, and Chengdu. This year’s Russian Food Culture Festival adopts the theme "Season of Russian Gifts." The exhibition area features innovative designs, with the main booth crafted into the shape of a traditional Chinese dragon boat. This creative integration of Chinese cultural elements not only celebrates the upcoming Dragon Boat Festival but also symbolizes the friendly cooperation and joint progress between China and Russia. The festival will centrally showcase premium products from over 100 enterprises across 35 Russian regions, allowing visitors to experience a "One-Stop" exploration of distinctive goods from various parts of Russia. The event features a diverse range of exhibits, covering multiple categories including food and beverages, dietary supplements, jewelry, and souvenirs, with jewelry products making their debut appearance. Notably, a dedicated Russian cosmetics section will present a series of unique skincare and beauty products. To enhance visitor engagement, a "Digital Experience Zone" has been specially set up, where attendees can personally experience Russia’s latest IT technologies and gaming industry achievements. More than just a cultural and culinary extravaganza, this Food Culture Festival serves as a vital opportunity to promote Sino-Russian business collaboration. A dedicated Sino-Russian business matchmaking session will be held, providing a face-to-face communication platform for enterprises from both countries to precisely align demands, facilitate project cooperation, and further advance bilateral economic and trade relations into deeper and broader dimensions. Veronika Nikishina, General Director of the Russian Export Center, stated that to expand the Chinese market, the center will not only vigorously promote high-quality, eco-friendly Russian products but also firmly combat counterfeit goods, ensuring Chinese consumers can purchase authentic, premium Russian products. |
